Grit Separators remove precipitates and heavy matter in municipal and industrial clarification plants by an inclined rotating shaft-less spiral. Turbulence is avoided by special construction of the hopper. ASTiM Grit Separator “AGS” which does not have any under water bearing reduces maintenance while offering increased grit removal and dryer grit. It has a very small profile for easier layout.
