The Rota-Lift Screen is a self cleaning fine screen designed to remove solids from liquids in wastewater treatment plants and process plants. It has a very low head loss which makes it ideal for open channel installations.

Operation Principle:

The wastewater flows through the screening blades of the screen. Solid matter is held back by these screening blades forming a mat, while the wastewater flows through the channel. As the screening blades are covered by solid matter, the free open area is reduced, which results increasing the liquid level in front of the screen due to increasing headloss. When pre-set diffrential wayter level is reached the drive motor of the screen is activated.

The moving blades make a rotational movement between the stationary blade grid and during each rotation cycle, the debris is transported onto the next higher notch of the fixed blade grid assembly and conveyed step-by-step to the discharge.

A spring loaded base flap installed at the machine base prevents solid matter settlement under the moving blades during the circular movement.

Slot Width: 1 ÷ 6 mm
Channel Width: 400 ÷ 2000 mm
Discharge Height: ~ 3,5 m
