CENFLO - Centre Flow Perforated Screen

for separation of fine debris from municipal and industrial stream with low pressure loss trough screening equipment

Cenflo is a Centre Flow Perforated Belt Screen mainly used as fine screening equipment for high and medium sized municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment plants. Especially for fine screening the perforated screening elements provide superior separation efficiency in comparison with bar screening elements. Also the screening elements prevent especially long fibres from passing through the screen and thus achieve the maximum separation efficiency.

Water enters through the centre of the fine screen and flows outwards through a moving perforated belt. Screenings are retained on the inside of the screen panels. As the endless perforated belt is slowly rotating in the channel the screenings are separated from the water stream. At the upper turning point after discharging the debris to discharge through the perforated plates are continuously cleaned by a fast counter-rotating brush which increases the cleaning energy and thus significantly improves the cleaning efficiency. Cleaning is supported by an integrated flushing system.

Design Sizes
